Most important – Jio does NOT work with this phone. The phone works with GSM networks only. I’d to buy an Airtel SIM and that worked. It also shows only 2 networks – Airtel and Vi – so I believe Vi might work too.
Basic phone with barebone features just what we were looking for. The design is nostalgic Nokia but with flimsy build. For example, opening the back cover for battery installation or putting the SIM in the slot are fiddly operations and feels the plastic body will break. I think what is expected at this price point.
If you are looking for a non-smart or limited-feature phone for your kids/elderly with the main intention to stay connected then this a good cheap option for you. Don’t expect a lot beyond this basic requirement.

I was disappointed with the condition of the product upon delivery. The item had noticeable scratches on the screen, which made it look like a used product rather than new. Given the expectations for a brand-new item, this was quite unsatisfactory. Due to the condition, I had to return the product.

I bought this Nokia for my grandmother, and for its main purpose, it’s excellent. It’s simple, the buttons are easy to press, the battery lasts forever, and it’s perfect for someone who just needs a reliable phone for making and receiving calls.
However, there is one EXTREMELY IMPORTANT thing to know before you buy: This phone is 2G only. This means your standard 4G or 5G SIM card from a modern smartphone will likely NOT work in it. I learned this the hard way.
You need to make sure you have a SIM that is specifically enabled for a 2G network. You might need to contact your service provider (like Airtel, Jio, etc.) to get the right one.
Once you have the correct SIM card sorted out, the phone is fantastic. But please, check your SIM compatibility first to save yourself a headache. Deducting one star for this potential confusion, but the phone itself is a solid, simple device.
