Lovely camera. Main sensor takes super good, crisp photos. Selfie is good. Video is superb. 8/10
Superb battery. I’m not a heavy gamer. Just casual staff, day to day use, most of the time YouTube or Netflix. WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram. After full day of havey use still 40% remaining. 10/10
Ui is top notch. Smooth, feature rich. 10/10
Performance. It’s a beast. Day to day use, there is no issue. No heating problem. 10/10

I recently bought the OnePlus Nord 5, and honestly, it feels awesome! So far, I haven’t faced any problems.
✅ Battery Life – Amazing! I’m getting around 42 hours on normal usage, and even on heavy usage it easily gives 28 hours, which is impressive.
✅ Camera – Really good quality, both photos and videos look sharp.
✅ Display – Next-level clarity and smoothness, watching videos and gaming feels premium.
✅ Call Quality – Crystal clear, no drops or noise issues.
✅ Performance – Typing speed is super-fast, apps open instantly, and multitasking is very smooth.
✅ WiFi & Connectivity – Internet speed feels very stable and quick.

I was looking to upgrade from my OnePlus Nord 3. The closest option I shortlisted was Oppo Reno 14 that has same specs of One Plus 5. I settled for One Plus 5 12+256 and it’s brilliant. Amazing camera, speed, display. The looks of the phone in hand is wow. Impressed with design. Worth the money. Launched recently and booked immediately.
Camera, sound and battery are amazing. I haven’t charged since last 2 days and battery still shows 52%
My use is heavy, non games, and I look for battery + storage. This phone has done justice. Go for it.

Let me share a brief review about the Product,
The OnePlus Nord 5 is overall a good Midrange phone, I love Oxygen OS UI very smooth and responsive with no lags at all, Camera was not so Great when it arrived yesterday, But today I got software update with July security patch which fixes my camera significantly, currently camera is doing very decent job 10x Zoom is very usable considering it has no Periscope (Dedicated 2x or 3x Zoom), The Mind Space feature do a basic UI related task, The AI in the image editing is doing a great job. It has all the google AI (Gemini) and circle to search feature, AI is doing a decent basic level job and need to improve. Live Alerts (OnePlus dynamic island) doing a great job, but it is not supporting 3rd party music apps and it needs to work.
Regarding Build Quality, Design and specs Build Quality is decent enough with Plastic frame (It prevents device to heat up during heavy tasking/gaming but might get scratches use phone case which is already provided in the box),, Regarding Specs it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor which is one year old but it is tried an tested, they can go with 8s Gen 4 or Dimensity chipset which they provided in China, and they have given UFS 3.1 instead of UFS 4.1, but that’s not the big deal breaker for most of the consumers.
Pros.
1. Great Software UI (No Lags at all)(4.5/5).
2. No Heating issue while using phone camera and multi tasking (4.5/5).
3. Great 1.5 K display with HDR Pro support (5/5).
4. Haptics are great.(4.5/5).
5. Camera is decent (3.5/5).
6. Software Update cycle (5/5)(4 Years of OS update and 6 years of security patch).
Cons:-
1. 80 W charger included (Last year 100 W charger was included with Oneplus Nord 4)
2. Plastic Frame (Subjective).
3. UFS 3.1 storage instead of UFS 4.0/4.1(Subjective).
4. IP 65 rating only instead of IP68/69 rating.
5. Processor can be little better.
Can charge 0 to 100 in 1h 10m (6800 mAh battery) which is decent.
Overall I can give OnePlus Nord 5 a decent 3.7/5 stars, One can definitely buy who wants premium level smooth OS, a decent camera and once who is casual to a good level gamer., will add sample camera shots shortly.

So far phone is working good as advertised, regarding camera not the sharpest and the AI corrections I did not like so much, functioning is smooth, UI is nice, RAM is good and works flawlessly, charging is awesome. For the price its a good phone.
